The countdown is going. We are slowly approaching “Surgery Day” and I am slowly growing increasingly edgy. I got my pre registration all done and the surgery is set. Now I just need to get my schedule for that day worked out and all will be grand. Logan has his Kindergarten Circus that morning (while Im in surgery) and then again that night. I will be attending the evening showing fully drugged to the max. I think the hopsital is giving me a walker of all things too. No crutches for me. This should be very interesting.

Life at the new job is settling. I worked late last night, and Im totally screwed for this coming weekend. I work all 3 days. UGH! Im sure its because the following weekend I wont be available to work at all. I have to do my fair share of the weekend drill so that others can cover for me. I would do it for them. I like where I work and most of whom I work with. I could do without 2 of them for sure because they are 2 faced bitches but then again Ive dealt with enough of that to last me a life time. I guess Ill never escape that.

 The kids had a nice Easter. The Bunny left baskets and wow I even got something this year. It was a purse.. of course. I love it. Its green with a turtle on it. Wal Mart special but hey it satisfied my purse fetish, for now. We did eggs at TJ and Julies Saturday night and again here yesterday morning. Shortly thereafter, the eggs became my lunch and we had killer egg salad. It was calm and quiet and then off to work I went. Joy.

So today I am off and tomorrow too. I finally got my bookcase stuff out and full and Im going to work on the hutch this week as well. I want to get my pretties up and out for all to see but Ive been working so much that I barely have time when I get home or the energy.

Lauren goes to camp *again* next week. Im not entirely keen with her going but she needs to bond with the rest of the kids in her class and this will help. She leaves Monday, gets back Wednesday afternoon and then heads home because its only a half day for her. Friday Im off for the surgery and Shawn starts his much needed weeks vacation. Seems as though we are headed to Shawns folks house for a few days post surgery. I get to stretch out on the bench seat in the van while he does all the driving and the kids have their Nintendo DSs to play with for the trip. Ill have my mp3 loaded and prolly sleep most of the way. We are leaving on Sunday and Im sure to be heavily doped up still. I plan on enjoying the clean air and open sky up at his folks house and let the dogs run. It will be Mimis first trip since we got her. His folks are anxious to see her.

Life is quiet.. relaxed.. sedate. I like this new way of living. I enjoy myself a great deal more and find myself happier (more often then not) then I have been in years past. I like the new calmness and serenity Ive stumbled into. Ive had some wicked up and downs lately (that I wont discuss here) and it seems that maybe all is working itself out slowly without much help from me. Ive all but given up on the weight loss thing. I am a round full figured girl. I have killer legs, great hair and a fabulous smile. I do still want to tone and smooth my lines abit but Im done worrying and obsessing about my weight. I am what I am and I will be what I will be. I watch what I eat (for the most part) and I happen to love my curves. I used to be straight down the sides. No hips, no waist. Now I have curves and lets face it.. they are LUSH! I am beautiful no matter what I look like. I take good care of myself, I am clean and well kept and damn if I dont have a rockin personality. This is me.. take it or leave it.

For now, I go to clean my work clothes, tidy the house and burn some music to cd for my car.
