Well I found out a few days ago but avoided posting about it. The promotion I had put in for at work: I didn’t get. I was a top contender but it just wasn’t in the cards for me to get it I guess. I’m bummed but I’ll cope. They know my desire to do more and offer myself to the job. I think that will be an advantage later on.

This week has sucked. It’s either been hot and humid or it’s rained. There’s been very little in between. It’s raining .. again .. as a matter of fact. Srsly, nothing but rain since like 8am. We had a couple of moments here and there where it didn’t rain but not often and not for long.

I was glad to see my previous post go over so well. I got a few compliments (prvtly) about it and was happy that others knew they were appreciated. I like making sure others get some kudos when they deserve it.

Not staying long today, I’m going to curl up and actually cross stitch (I think) or at the very least attempt it. I was also going to do some other stuff too but that hasn’t happened yet today either.

Ok yeah so I’ll go. I’m cranky and the weather has my knees acting up, plus I need to just unplug my brain with something mindless for a while.
