Sunday was my birthday. The entire weekend passed with little excitement or anything. It was a simple quiet weekend.

Via Amazon and a wonderful person who adores me, I got a book to complete my collection by Michelle Moran and a game for my DS, Gardening Mama.

Saturday we had Lauren’s bff Amy here and we all went out to do some shopping thanks to Lauren’s sperm donor and his required $150 in back to school shopping money.

We hit Plato’s Closet to get the stuff she wants, and then Target for things for Logan. While shopping for the kids, Shawn encouraged me to hit GameStop to find something for my birthday. I ended up with 2 more games for my DS, Hidden Mysteries Vampire Secrets and Buckingham Palace. I have since conquered both

Sunday morning I was treated to my bagel in bed. The girls grabbed their DS and we gamed together for about an hour. Mike and Hope showed up with a chest freezer (YAY) for me and a card.

We headed out shortly after to go paint for my former father in law’s newly relocated sister, Aunt Sheila. She loves me to bits and still considers me family. Go figure.

I had a nice dinner at home, that I cooked and then Shawn showed me the cake he made me that morning. Yellow cake, milk chocolate frosting with crumbled original and yellow oreos on top!

Yep sounds good, thats where I’m headed!

dk gets TOTAL credit. I thought this was spectacular. If you know the song or Lady Gaga’s work, pay close attention. There’s a couple of surprises.

Not all plugs are made equal!

Big Flirt has risen higher then any plug I have ever used.

This smooth silicone plug is utterly fabulous!

The Big Flirt has a smooth rounded head that allows for easy and painless insertion, unlike other plugs that have more of a pointed head. The base is nice and smooth without ridges and flat so that you can rest comfortably or sit without discomfort. Other plugs I have tried have had ridges that goo and fluids can build in and ruin the interior of the plug. It was similar to a sleeve over a smaller plug. The Big Flirt is a solid single piece constructed anal plug.

The slight flairing and tapering of the plug> makes it comfortable for long term wear and use. The swelled lower section stretches the skin slightly and then once inserted, the waist at the base is a tight but firm fit for your bottom.

Care and clean up are so easy with the Big Flirt! I use an antibacterial cleanser and warm water to keep the silicone clean and neat. Leaving the Big Flirt out to air dry is recommended so that it doesn’t pick up particles otherwise.

When you find something that works, you never go back. The Big Flirt is a 10 out of 10 in my toy box!

The Tenga Egg was supposed to be a surprise to my partner. We thought it would be fun, sadly we were mistaken.

Tenga Egg was a disappointment from the start. First it was alittle tacky feeling when we first opened it. There weren’t any kind of instructions for care or cleaning either.

Second, the TPE material seemed thinner in some places and thicker in others. It was rather misleading. We were slightly optimistic when we investigated the interior surface. It seemed promising, but when my partner tried it with their included packet of lube, the material seemed to just fall apart and within a fewgentle strokes, the Tenga Egg ripped!

We were sorely let down by the lack of quality with the Tenga Egg sleeve. We immediately discarded it and moved on.

Sadly, the Tenga Egg was a complete waste of time and energy. Lacking instructions for care and cleaning, the material wasn’t consistent in thickness and not very durable.

Looks like the egg is scrambled.

When I signed up for doing reviews with Babeland, I never thought I would get something that would make me laugh.

When Position of the Day Playbook came across my desk I was curious. It’s small, lightweight and almost pocket size. It’s a smaller paperback but thick. This small red book is not just for ideas but for laughs! The note from the writers tells you point blank to not take this book seriously, it is meant for fun. There are several repeated positions with different names. There are many positions that are completely and totally impossible (See The Quasimodo, April 23) but fun to see and leans to the idea of, “What if…?”

I have never so thoroughly enjoyed a book as I have Position of the Day Playbook. Em and Lo, “near experts”, make looking at these positions fun and interesting.

I have this book out when I have friends over. I lay it on the coffee table and it quickly becomes a conversation piece. Do you need a good giggle, maybe an interesting gift for that kink minded friend? The Position of the Day Playbook makes a n interesting gift for the open minded individual. I give this book a huge thumbs up!

Hell yeah!

The last few weeks have been insanely busy. I mean, non stop.

School started which meant shopping, volleyball things, supplies and clothes. Most of that hasn’t even happened. Lauren’s father -still- hasn’t sent her money for school clothes. Mom covered most of the kids supplies thankfully and volleyball stuff was covered long before the season started.

Work has been hectic. The fall/winter sets are starting to roll out and consume the front of the store. Most of the clothes are in and now the outerwear is taking over the center masses and pods, which requires ink tags from lil ol me.

I recently had my review. I refuse to go into detail but I am not pleased. I missed the cut-off point for my raise by ONE point. The review was actually VERY good but as I was scored on things, I was given a couple of lower numbers that I don’t fully agree with, hence missing my target by one point. The matter is going to the district manager for review with my boss. I’m hoping for a happy outcome. I’ll update when I know.

My personal life is …..

Thankfully I’m staying busy and trying to not think of all the issues that still need resolution. I did receive a very beautiful gift recently. It’s very pretty, has purple in it and I wear it daily. I can’t elaborate but I’m hoping to have more information to share …. eventually.

Shawn and I are getting along quite well considering the knowledge of our seperation coming. We laugh, joke, goof off and just enjoy each other. It almost feels like it did when we were first married but the “in” love part is missing. All else feels nice but we still aren’t physically involved, unless one of us just needs a hug or something. It’s all very plutonic, it’s like having a best friend that you can be completely natural with but not intimacy. It’s weird but comfortable.

As for all else, it just .. is. I play the Wii a little in the afternoons while the kids are gone, or watch movies. I’m going to finally carve out some quality time to read and unwind. I’ve not stitched in quite some time but I’m hoping to resolve this as well. Nothing makes me happy or satisfies. I like to be alone and left to myself lately.
