I have to update my WordPress. I’m so far behind. I don’t even know how. Isn’t that sad? I can’t do it automatically because it says I don’t have room. So I have no clue how to update it manually. I feel stupid.

So I am over my anger with the kids. Shawn ended up having a “come to Jesus” talk with them both before I laid them out on the floor. Their attitudes are better, they are actually getting along well and we had a nice weekend.

Friday night we did dinner for their birthdays. Thursday was Logan’s (he turned 10) and Lauren’s was in January (she turned 15). We all love Red Robin, that was our dinner choice. But we had 2 extra’s with us. We ended up taking Mike and Hope (long story) and had a great time…with the exception of the weather. It was treacherous driving home. We found out the next morning that all traffic immediately after us was hit hard with wind, blowing snow and ice. More then 50 slide off’s …YIKES! I am so glad we missed that.

Saturday took us back to town yet again. I really hate multiple trips to town. It rubs me the wrong way. I hate wasting the gas. The kids really wanted to hit the mall so we did. We didn’t buy anything but a pair of shoes! But it was nice to walk around, be seen and see others we knew. Lauren ran into several of her friends. Logan saw a few kids from school and I ran into a few folks I knew as well.

Btw, Yankee Candle is the devil. Just sayin’. I LOVE/hate that store! I could spend about $50 in tarts for my warmer without a second thought. Though I am being told that Scentsy stuff lasts longer. I’m currently looking into that. I may have to track someone down.

I got a new mp3 player! My Sansa Fuze has some issues and I opted to get myself a new one. Lauren got a Samsung Galaxy Player, so now I have one too. It does everything but make phone calls. As long as I have wifi, I can do pretty much anything.

Yesterday we turned around yet again and were in town, only this time we were at the grocery store. Oh joy! I love 3 days in a row of trips to town, and today may follow the same path. I’m not sure yet.

Right now, I just want to get my house back in order. I got a new vacuum (squeeeeee) and want to clean! Then I have goodie baskets to bake and assemble this week (2 of them!) THEN I have to get ready for the weekend and Lauren’s father coming to town to spend it with her.

Life.. it runs amok!!!
